Siena's 4 Month Check-Up

Siena is now 4 months old! She had her check-up yesterday and here are her stats:
13 lbs (40th percentile) and 23.25 inches tall (20th percentile) She took her vaccinations like a champ and she held her big brother's hand through it. Boy is she lucky to have such a great big brother!

Doesn't Neil sing a great rendition of Wheels on the Bus? Here's Siena's response.

Siena's First Swim

Baby Siena went swimming this morning for the first time and LOVED IT!
As you can tell, I can't figure out to get rid of the underline. Oh well.

Neilly on the Flip

We just got the Flip - a very small and handy HD camcorder the size of a cell phone. So we're trying it out and seeing how the videos post on to the blog. Let us know of what you think.

Also, Dadi is visiting down from New York and here are some pictures of her and Neilly at the pool. This was Neil's first day back at the pool and he loved it as you can tell from the pictures.

Baby Siena's Bath

Of course, my favorite pictures-Neil giving Siena a bath. These were taken a couple weeks ago, but I was slow to get them posted. I love how she looks at her big brother and he is still so sweet with her.

Pullen Park

We went to a new park today in Raleigh with Neil's friends, Garrison, Jude and Luke. They went on a train and boat ride and played on the playground. We had a picnic lunch too. The boys had a blast!

Maymont Park

Neil, Siena, and I went to Richmond last weekend while PJ was at Michael Haley's wedding in Seattle. We had a great time. Here are some pictures from our outing to Maymont Park (a big park with animals). Neil liked feeding the goats and sheep.

I had a great Mother's Day with my Mom and I received both an email and an Elmo card from Neil.

Passover

We started off our wonderful vacation in Richmond doing lots of exciting activities. We got Uncle Bri and Aunt Jenni to ourselves for a few days. Well we had to share with Mama and Papa and Jenni's brother, Andrew, but they shared well.

We went to the pet store because it was too rainy to go to Maymont Park to see the animals. We went to the playground to play baseball (see video below). Aunt Jenni even made us a yummy dinner one night. Aunt Jenni's brother, Andrew, also spent some time with us. He and Neil shared a room and we learned that Neil has so much to say that he even talks in his sleep.

Here is a short video of Neil learning to play baseball with Papa. It captures Neil's only good hit. Way to perform for the camera, Neil! Papa spent many patient hours teaching Neil baseball, tennis, and the art of kite flying to name a few.

On Tuesday we picked up Nanny and headed to Williamsburg for Passover. We had dinner at the local pizza parlor and Neil got cold. It is a good thing that Aunt Jenni is a good sharer and shared her coat with him.

We walked to the playground and Uncle Bri and Neil played on the fire truck. We were glad to have Fire fighter Neil to put out all the pretend fires on the playground.

We had a great in Williamsburg. The highlight was the wiffle ball game organized by PJ. We also played tennis and watched Slumdog Millionaire. Papa even watched it during the day before it was really, really dark.

As you can tell, we spent a lot of time hanging out on the porch. For the second straight year, we've had great weather. However, the Hawaiians found the 70 degree days very cold. Ha, ha.

We had a nice sedar that Neil was excited to participate in. He couldn't believe that everyone was going to read and eat at the same time. For those that don't know, Neil likes to have books read to him while he eats all his meals.

Thanks for looking at this long blog page, but we had fun with so many different relatives that we had to include lots of pictures. I think I did a pretty good job considering I had about 110 pictures to choose from.

And here is a short video of Siena smiling. Enjoy!
