Dadi's Visit

We had a nice visit with Dadi the past couple weeks. Enjoy the pictures of her in pool with the kids. I have to work in the morning so I'm not going to write much so I can get to sleep. I still have one more entry to post of Siena.

Siena Ate Solid Food

As you can tell, Siena had a better first experience with food than her big brother. Siena made some VERY funny faces while trying to eat her rice cereal mixed with a milk based formula this morning. The good news is that she did not have an allergic reaction. However, this is her first exposure to milk and the reaction happen on the second exposure. I have a good feeling about her though. Also, take note....she is wearing one of her many UNC tar heel onsies. I do have her eating on video so that may be coming in the near future so stay tuned. Sorry for all the posts today, but when it rains it pours. Plus it helps that I have time today since Dadi is busy playing with Neil.

Museum Visit

On Friday we went to the Life and Science Museum in Durham with Dadi (Lata) and had a blast. As you can see, Neil enjoyed the butterfly garden and we even saw some dinosaurs! Doesn't Siena look beautiful in her yellow and blue dress that Dadi made! Siena's hair is getting so long that she already needs bows to keep it out of her eyes.

Family Vacation

A couple weeks ago we took a family vacation to Wrightsville Beach in Wilmington, North Carolina. We had a jam packed two days at the beach. Siena enjoyed her first beach experience. She spent most of the time in her tent very content. Neil dug a large hole, loved the ocean, collected sea shells, and built a sand castle. We also enjoyed the aquarium and rode on a ferry!

How Cute

Here are some cute pictures of the kids (mostly Siena) that were taken the last few days. Neil is in camp this week and having a great time! Siena has learned to roll from her back to her belly and she giggles all the time. She is a very happy baby unless she is at the Stay N Play at the gym. She does not want Mommy to get back in shape.

Hopefully soon I will be able to get the Flip movies up because I have some great clips of Neil's swim lessons and Siena giggling. Stay tuned.....

Orlando Part I

We just got back from Orlando celebrating Nanny (G-G) and Poppy's 60th wedding anniversary. We stayed in a huge 7 bedroom house with G-G, Poppy, The Freedmans (Aunt Roni, Uncle Alan, Jacob, and Adam), Mama, Papa, Aunt Boo Boo, and Nanny Nita. We had a blast, but we missed Aunt Jenni and Uncle Bri. Judy, Eugene, Joe, Gloria, Bluma, and Beth also joined us for the weekend celebration.

There was a water park inside the resort area that was perfect for Neil. He had fun in the lazy river and was very brave on the slides and jungle gym. Neil also participated in Silly Saturday in his first balloon toss competition.

Sorry it took me so long to post. I had this in my draft folder and didn't realize that I didn't publish it.

Once I figure out how to download the videos from the Flip, I will post part 2. We had a wonderful time!
